walk poem

One day the sun awoke, and the world failed to be dark.
One night the moon opened his eyes, but the sun was too bright, so he hid behind the earth.
In matrimony, they speak of two lovers joining as one. But what they rarely tell you is how two opposites can belong to each other without ever touching hands.
The moon envies the mass and heat from the sun. But to be so close means melting all he has become. She knows this, but still, she begs, for a minute of his time, for a moment of staring.
But as we all know, if you glare too long at the spark in the sky. She does not blind you out of hate but love and envy for more.
-five-mile walk-
-a bit of poetic truth-
-laikyn men is the name-
