it shouldn't happen this way

There are twelve months out of the year, yet we are in agony for more time. 

More time spent surrounded by loved ones or strangers who know our name.

We seek out acceptance because we have difficulty in seeing the reason within. 

Our souls are rough and tired from the adaptation of adulthood. Yet, in the quiet times at night, it's when we finally find out we are enough.
