2021 Books of the Year
Best books of 2021
2021 was a great year for memoirs and biographies. It was especially a unique platform for the Asian community. There, of course, were other celebrated cultures and backgrounds this year. One I forgot to mention was Poet Warrior.
Overall I feel the industry is making great strides to provide examples of every kind of human and connect with those who are in need of someone like them.

it shouldn't happen this way
There are twelve months out of the year, yet we are in agony for more time.
More time spent surrounded by loved ones or strangers who know our name.
We seek out acceptance because we have difficulty in seeing the reason within.
Our souls are rough and tired from the adaptation of adulthood. Yet, in the quiet times at night, it's when we finally find out we are enough.

promise you won't fade.
It is a morning filled with quiet rises of the sun, next to the cool weather of winter.
If you step outside, maybe you will start to hear the day begin. It might sound like honking horns or birds chirping. But I think it could also sound like a beautiful sigh. An exhale of hope, a transfer of faith.
The hours grow shorter when the snow sticks to the grounds. But we must remember even if the sun does not always shine; we should not fade along with its shadow.
